Cancer Council NSW’s Corporate Volunteering Program recognises that many organisations and their employees wish to contribute time and skills into the community, and in ways that benefit all parties. Cancer Council NSW’s program provides opportunities to support people whose lives have been touched by cancer
Big or small, the size of your organisation doesn’t matter. We always welcome any business that would like to support us to beat cancer.
There are a range of opportunities available for your staff to contribute their time to Cancer Council NSW in a purposeful, meaningful and rewarding way. These include:
- Pre and post-event support
Assembling host kits, sorting and processing returned mail and merchandise after each of our major events, post event data entry and ad-hoc admin tasks. Team sizes are ideally 6 people or less and work will take place in our office in Woolloomooloo. - Direct Marketing support
Write cards for our major donors and Events Family members and sort direct mail packs. Team sizes are ideally 6 people or less and work will take place in our office in Woolloomooloo. - On the day event support
Working individually or as part of a team on one of our fundraising events e.g. at a rostered event site on Daffodil Day in August. We can accommodate individuals and groups of all sizes.
