Have you or anyone you know been affected by skin cancer?

Whether you are a golf club that has improved your sun safety practices for your members, you are a golfer doing sun safety as part of your regular game, or you have a personal melanoma story to share – we want to hear from you!

Share your story to recognise your golf club, help raise awareness of the importance of sun safety, and motivate others to change their sun protection behaviour to help reduce their skin cancer risk. The health and wellbeing of your members matters.

Frequently asked questions

Improve your long game is Cancer Council NSW’s golf sun safety initiative. The program is transitioning to SunSmart Sports and Recreation in 2027. While new memberships, renewals and regular sunscreen deliveries are no longer available, Cancer Council NSW remains committed to supporting golf clubs with sun safety information, resources and guidance. 

Improve your long game is transitioning to SunSmart Sports and Recreation in 2027 and is no longer accepting new or renewal memberships. For information about ongoing sun safety support and resources, please visit our SunSmart Sports and Recreation webpages.  

Improve your long game is transitioning to SunSmart Sports and Recreation in 2027 and is unable to fulfil program resource orders at this time. Cancer Council NSW will continue to provide sun safety information, resources and guidance through its broader SunSmart Sports and Recreation initiatives.
