Find a solicitor to assist with your Will

If you do not have your own solicitor, use this search tool to find one from the Planned Giving Platform. Your initial consultation with a solicitor will be complimentary – up to the value of $300.

Cancer Council NSW provides a link to the search function on the Planned Giving Platform for information purposes related to general gift and estate planning.

The platform is hosted and operated by a third party provider, Sam Devlin Consulting Ltd.

The Planned Giving Platform’s search function and technology, and the database of solicitors are managed entirely by the third-party provider.

Cancer Council NSW does not control, operate or maintain, or have oversight of the platform or its contents.

Cancer Council NSW does not endorse or recommend any particular solicitor or legal services listed in the Planned Giving Platform’s network of solicitors.

The appearance of a solicitor in the search results does not indicate any affiliation with, or endorsement by Cancer Council NSW.

By using the Planned Giving Platform’s search function, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • your search queries and usage data may be collected and handled by the third-party provider in accordance with its own terms of use and privacy policies, which you are encouraged to review;
  • Cancer Council NSW does not provide legal advice and cannot advise on the selection of a solicitor;
  • you are free to choose your own solicitor and are responsible for verifying any information before deciding to proceed.

If you have any questions or concerns about the Planned Giving Platform, please contact Cancer Council NSW at [email protected].

You can read their Privacy Policy on the Planned Giving Platform website.

No. There is no obligation to leave Cancer Council NSW a gift in your Will. However, as a supporter of our work, and after you have looked after your family and friends, a gift of even 1% can make such an impact. 25% of our work is funded by Gifts in Wills.

Yes. You are free to choose from the list of participating firms. Cancer Council NSW does not provide recommendations – the choice is entirely yours.
