Sarah Penman
Sarah was Legal and Financial Support Services at Cancer Council NSW, which included managing the National Pro Bono Program, which works to reduce the burden of legal, financial and workplace issues facing people affected by cancer across the country.
Her passionate team coordinate delivery of legal and financial support to people affected by cancer and their families.
Sarah has been involved in the pro bono and access to justice sectors for more than ten years. Before joining Cancer Council NSW in 2011, she worked as a lawyer at a national firm where she was deeply involved in the firm’s pro bono work as well as its partnerships with not-for-profits.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Law, both from the University of NSW.
