Maria managed Cancer Council’s National Pro Bono Program. The Pro Bono Program is a unique supportive care program delivered nationally. The program is designed to help people affected by cancer with financial planning, legal, small business accounting and work place issues that have arisen from a cancer diagnosis, if they cannot afford to pay for advice.
Before joining Cancer Council in June 2016, Maria was a solicitor in the UK for 28 years. She has an LLB (Hons) and is admitted to the Law Society of England and Wales.
