Preheat oven to 200 oC / 180 oC (Fan). Lightly grease a muffin pan or alternatively line with paper
Sift self-raising flour into a large bowl.
Stir through muesli, sugar, pear and walnuts until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, egg and butter together.
Combine the milk mixture with the flour mixture and stir until well combined.
Spoon 3-4 tablespoons of the mixture into each muffin pan or paper case and sprinkle with remaining muesli.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Remove from the oven and allow to stand for 5 minutes before turning onto a wire rack to cool completely.
To serve, pack into lunch boxes for school morning tea.
