Help shape a new digital resource to support safe physical activity for children and young people affected by cancer
By Cancer Council NSW
Physical activity is likely to be a safe way to improve the short- and long-term health of children with cancer. However, research shows that children with cancer don’t do enough physical activity, and that there are limited resources to help children with cancer safely engage in physical activity.
Researchers from UNSW are doing a research study to understand children with cancer’s and their families’ needs, preferences, and barriers to involving children with cancer in physical activity. We will use this information to help create new digital resources to support young people affected by cancer to stay active in safe and enjoyable ways.
