Cancer Council NSW and Can Too Foundation are working together to create a cancer-free future for everyone.
Since February 2014, Cancer Council NSW and Can Too Foundation have helped regular Australians have fun, get fit, make friends and fundraise for people affected by cancer.
Can Too Foundation offers professionally coached, structured training programs tailored to specific physical challenges such as running, ocean swimming, triathlons or choral singing. They offer training programs for all levels, from beginners to those more experienced.
The Can Too Foundation provides a supportive environment for participants with training that is specifically tailored to improve mental and physical health.
Research has shown that one third of cancer cases are preventable through healthy lifestyle choices. By encouraging people to take up or maintain exercise, Can Too Foundation are helping people reduce their risk of cancer.
In return for professionally coached training, participants raise funds to help people affected by cancer, like Cancer Council NSW’s world-class cancer research and prevention programs. They also get the chance to do something fun and rewarding for a good cause.
“It’s a great way to meet people, get fit, and help beat cancer. I loved the trail run – such beautiful views and a great sense of achievement.” – Fiona, 2017 Can Too Foundation Trail Runner
Annie Crawford, Founder and Chair of Can Too Foundation, has inspired thousands to get moving and achieve their goals through run, ocean swim and triathlon training programs that raise funds to help people affected by cancer. Watch the below video to find out why Annie runs, and why you should too.
