Professor Lyndal Trevena is a practising GP who co-leads the Discipline of General Practice at the University of Sydney.
With a particular research interest in shared decision-making, Lyndal is committed to ensuring that consumers have the information they need to make informed decisions about prevention and treatment. She promotes evidence-based decision-making in general practice, and aims to make shared decision-making more accessible to vulnerable populations.
Lyndal has developed and evaluated a range of tools to help people make decisions about cancer screening, cancer prevention, and health checks.
