Cancer Council Book of Hope

Barbara, Jo and Allan McLean

Allan McLean's page in the Book of Hope

We have taken a page in the Book of Hope to celebrate the memorable life of our Dad/husband, Allan McLean. A wonderful man much loved by his family and friends, who remained stoic and positive throughout his battle with cancer. We hope our contribution goes a small way towards supporting the tremendous work of the Cancer Council NSW."

— Jo and Barbara McLean

What is the Book of Hope?

Honour a loved one with a dedicated page in The Cancer Council's Book of Hope.

Tell the story in words and pictures of someone who has died of cancer or perhaps someone who has beaten cancer to go on to a new life.

Each page contains a moving and inspiring story about a special person written by that person or a family member.

DaffodilsWe invite you to view the Book of Hope during business hours in the foyer of The Cancer Council NSW at 153 Dowling Street Woolloomooloo, Sydney

or click here to read them online.

How can I honour a loved one with a page in the Book of Hope?

A minimum donation of $500 entitles you to dedicate a page in the Book of Hope.

Your donation will give cancer patients and their families the possibility of better treatments, support and we hope one day, a cure.

How to design your page

You get a full A4 page (210cm x 297cm) to devote to your loved one.

There are many ways to present your page: a photo, a poem, a saying, or an anecdote that honours the life of this special person.

We will mount your page with a black frame and protect it in a clear sleeve.

If you have any questions about your dedication, please call the Carola Maier
on 9334 1455 or email InMemoryDonation@nswcc.org.au
