Field Of Hope 2009

Field of HopeCancer Council thanks all of our supporters and volunteers who contributed to the 2009 Field of Hope.

Over 4000 daffodil tributes were planted by dedicated volunteers, creating a spectacular sight in First Fleet Park on Sunday 23rd August 2009.

These daffodil tributes contained moving and emotional tributes from our supporters, in honour of their loved ones touched by cancer.

Dr Andrew Penman spoke about some of the achievements that we have seen as an organisation, and gave hope for a cancer free future.

Over $3000 was raised on the day, with proceeds going towards Daffodil Day.
