By playing just one game, your club can help us take a vital step forward in the battle against cancer. Call To Arms aims to raise awareness and funds to fight cancer in men. All players simply wear a yellow armband for one game of the season to show their support. It’s easy to take part, with minimal administration, and can help attract even more spectators to a match as well as saves lives.

Tim Cahill Cancer Fund
International soccer star, Tim Cahill, has established the Tim Cahill Cancer Fund for Children with the aim of raising $500,000 over the next two years. The Fund will support Cancer Council NSW’s work for children’s cancer.

An exciting new initiative in cancer advocacy, our recently launched Take Action Against Cancer website is a one-stop shop for taking action on cancer issues, whatever your passion for an issue, time commitments, or preferences for involvement.

Cancer Council NSW awarded six councils for leading the charge towards healthy local living and reducing the impact of cancer in their communities at the Local Government Week Awards evening held in Sydney on 4 August.

Cancer cases and cancer deaths in NSW will soar over the next decade, claiming an extra 14,000 lives unless action is taken, according to our new report Saving life: why wouldn't you? We want State Government to act and you can help get the message across.
