Stop junk food companies targeting our kids through sport

Sports settings offer an ideal opportunity to promote healthy behaviours. This is being hijacked by food and beverage companies marketing junk food.

  • We want sponsorship of children’s sport programs included in food marketing regulation.
  • In the absence of regulation, we want companies to exercise responsible marketing practices and withdraw from sports sponsorship.
  • We are asking sports development programs such as Little Athletics, Nippers and Hoop Time to reject unhealthy sponsorship.
