Hannah Baird

Hannah is Lead Supportive Care Manager at Cancer Council NSW, overseeing the 13 11 20 Information and Support service and Peer Support Programs, including Cancer Council Online Community.

She has previously held senior roles with CanTeen Australia as their National Program Manager (Youth Cancer Services), the National Heart Foundation as their National Manager – Engaging Women program, National Prescribing Service as their Community Quality Use of Medicines Manager and as a Senior Policy Officer at the NSW Health Department.

Hannah has worked as a freelance consultant developing the Clinical Excellence Commission’s 2013 Report on Care for the Dying in NSW. She has also run large scale consumer awareness, fundraising and behavioural change campaigns including the Healthy Heart Challenge, Go Red for Women for heart disease, Generic Medicines are an Equal Choice, and the human rights focused Candle Day. 

Hannah holds a Masters degree in Applied Science from the University of Western Sydney (2002) and is a graduate of Victoria University (NZ) with a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (1988) in Economics and Marketing.
