Christina is the Program Lead for Tobacco Control Policy within the Cancer Prevention and Advocacy Division. Christina leads and directs research and advocacy on a range of tobacco control policy issues in NSW including e-cigarettes, smoke-free environments and tobacco retail. Christina has a PhD from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Health from Macquarie University.
Christina was the lead researcher on a world-first study to interview former tobacco industry employees to expose the breadth of promotional activities used to drive tobacco sales, and she continues to conduct research to uncover the ways that tobacco companies influence public policy. Christina can comment on: Tobacco retail, smoke-free environment issues, e-cigarettes and tobacco industry practices.
