Kevin York – Volunteer of the Year
Margaret’s Story
Cancer is simply part of Margaret’s life. She volunteers at the Cancer Council Information Service at the Calvary Mater helping people find information and support about cancer.
Sue’s Story
When Sue had cancer she received support from Cancer Council NSW. Now she volunteers at the Cancer Council Information Service in Western Sydney, helping people affected by cancer.
Jennifer’s story
After caring for her father who sadly passed away from cancer, Jennifer was inspired to volunteer at Cancer Council NSW where she now supports people experiencing cancer in northern NSW.
Adrienne’s Story
Twenty years ago when Adrienne was diagnosed with cancer there was limited information and support available. She now volunteers with Cancer Council NSW to make sure no one goes through what she went through.

Tony Breinl is a volunteer speaker. He gives presentations on cancer prevention, detection, living with the disease, support for others with cancer, and on palliative care.
