Community Involvement in Research Training – expression of interest

Consumers – that means any member of the public who has been affected by cancer, or just generally has an interest in getting involved – play an important role in cancer research and cancer research funding. Involving consumers in research means that research is conducted in partnership with the people it is intended to benefit. We expect all researchers who apply for our funding to include a consumer in their research and all research grants we award are reviewed by our Consumer Review Panel who are trained members of the community.
