Community Speakers Program

What’s it about:
Cancer Council NSW is dedicated to defeating cancer by building a cancer smart community.

The Community Speakers Program was developed to inform the community of relevant and up-to-date information on issues relating to cancer. It does this through the delivery of 30 minute presentations, displays and information resources on a variety of subjects such as prevention, early detection, support services and Cancer Council NSW involvement in the community.

Currently we provide the following talks:

  • All Cancers. All People. Cancer Council NSW
  • Healthy Lifestyles: Reducing Your Cancer Risk
  • Save Your Own Skin
  • 5 Most Common Cancers
  • Cancer Research and You

How to book a Presentation

Please complete our Presentation Request Form to express your interest in booking a community speaker. Remember you will need to request your speaker at least three to four weeks before your event. Presentations are free of charge for community groups and community organisations. A small fee applies for corporations.
