Advocacy training – develop skills to help you take action

Chemotherapy payments abolished; crowded outdoor areas now smoke-free; more funding for palliative care and bowel cancer screening; better financial assistance for country patients…

Wins like these were achieved because people like you chose to speak out about health issues that are important to them and the NSW community.

Our advocacy training – in conjunction with Cancer Voices NSW – is currently being reviewed. We want to ensure that we continue to provide you with the most up-to-date information and tools to become an active and effective advocate for improvements to cancer policies and systems.

From campaign strategy, understanding media and Government structures through to visiting MPs, we will empower you to fully participate at all levels where decisions about cancer policy are made – giving you the tools to campaign on issues you care about.
