Brain Cancer Action Week aims to increase awareness of brain cancer and raise funds for brain cancer research. Brain cancer is the least understood cancer in Australia, despite being one of the most fatal.
The Brain Tumour Support and Education Forum
Friday 8 May – 10am – 3pm
Menzies Hotel, Sydney CBD.
This free forum is an opportunity for people diagnosed with brain cancer and their carers and families to learn from the experts and ask questions about clinical care, treatment options, current research, clinical trials and support and community services.
This year’s keynote speaker is Dr Jacob Fairhall – a neurosurgeon from the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney.

- On What All the Tests Mean?
- Support for families and carers
- Recent advancements in clinical care
You will also have the opportunity to meet the speakers.
